A MAN and his dog were rescued after becoming stuck in a bog in the New Forest.
The 66-year-old man was trapped in water up to his waist at Beaulieu on Sunday, January 15.
The man used the What3words system to help firefighters identify his exact location.
What3words is a geocode system designed to identify any location.
Crews from Beaulieu, Fareham, and Redbridge fire stations attended.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service said: “Firefighters were able to free the man who was then looked over by an ambulance crew, who shortly released him after confirming he was okay.”
The fire service said the incident was dealt with by 1.13pm.
