THE family of a popular Romsey dad need to raise tens of thousands of pounds to fund potentially life-saving cancer treatment.
A crowdfunding appeal has been launched to help Nathan Sessions, a well-known and much-loved character in the town, who has been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer, which has spread to his liver.
Nathan, who owns his own landscaping business, is remaining upbeat and is keen to look to the future with wife Lisa and ten-year-old twins Johnny and Nula.

He is concentrating on keeping fit, boxing twice a week, getting out on his bike and playing squash.
Nathan told the Daily Echo: "The nurses can’t believe I do it all, but I’m in the best shape of my life and I just want to fight it. It’s not going to get me at all.
“You name it, I’ve tried it. Faith healers, diet, supplements, no red meat, basically the opposite of what I used to be, and I feel good.
“I just want more time with my wife and kids. If I can buy more time, then hopefully a cure comes along. There are new trials coming out every day."
Nathan was diagnosed in May 2022, just weeks after the death of his dad.
It’s been a traumatic few years for the 47-year-old, who has also lost his mum and father-in-law.
Chemotherapy, which was initially extremely successful, has become less effective and Nathan has been forced to look at alternatives.
He is now looking into the possibility of clinical trials or an operation, most of which are abroad and can cost as much as 160,000 Euros.
“I’m talking to experts and different specialists and exploring avenues every day and I only want to hear positive vibes and inspiring stories. I want to be that person that’s the inspiration to the next person.”
The crowdfunding appeal had reached £10,000 within the first 24 hours of being posted.
The friend who launched the fundraiser, Suzanne Bundy, said Nathan had ‘never given up hope’ and remains ‘determined to beat this’. She added: "He’s always still there to help anyone else that needs it, despite how tired or unwell he may be feeling. He’s an inspiration to us all."
