A PERSON has been arrested for possession of indecent images and sexual activity with a child.

It comes as Treetops Preschool in Hedge End has been ordered to close by Ofsted over a safeguarding complaint.

A Hampshire police spokesperson said: “We can confirm an arrest has been made for possession of indecent images or pseudo-images of children, and sexual activity with a child.

“That person has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.”
