PHOTOS show the damage caused to nearby buildings after a fire broke out behind a vacant shop in Eastleigh.
Firefighters rushed to Hanns Way in Eastleigh yesterday after a fire started behind businesses on the town's High Street.
Images taken by the Daily Echo show the extent of the damage with the blaze having spread to a nearby roof.
A hole can be seen in the roof of The Chalet, a restaurant next to the building where the fire started.

It is thought that the fire started in a shelter behind an empty business premises.
Fire crews from Botley, Eastleigh, Hightown, Redbridge, Southsea and St Mary's attended the incident.
Nobody is reported to have been injured with firefighters using breathing apparatus and hoses to extinguish the blaze.
Emergency services left the area at around 11pm last night.
