The grand opening date for a women’s activewear store in Westquay has finally been announced.
Sweaty Betty will be landing in the Southampton shopping centre on February 21.
The global brand was announced as a new arrival last month on Westquay’s social media pages, much to the delight of customers.
Laura Read, general manager at Westquay said: “Athleisure brands continue to be amongst the top performing categories across retail and leisure destinations, so having a household name with an international following such as Sweaty Betty is a real coup for us.
“We’re really excited about the new store and the reception from our customers.”

The shop, adjacent to Accessorize and Crew Clothing on level two, will be filled with multi-sport activewear.
This includes its ‘famous bum-sculpting leggings’ and performance pieces for running, yoga, and swimming.
And as part of the grand opening, the first 50 customers will be treated to an exclusive giveaway.
Amber Balcombe, head of UK retail at Sweaty Betty, said: “Westquay is the premier shopping destination in Southampton, with a big and diverse demographic for us to tap into.
“We hope our store empowers a new group of women through fitness.”
