AN EMPLOYEE stole thousands of pounds from the gym he worked at.
Ace Rosales was hauled before court after he stole more than £4,000 from Anytime Fitness in Totton.
The 32-year-old stole a total of £4,297.56 from his employer over the course of 10 months.
The court heard how the offence breached a "high level of trust".
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he admitted one charge of theft by employee.
Rosales, of Green Park Road, Southampton, was jailed for 18 weeks suspended for 18 months and was ordered to pay back £4,297.56 in compensation.
He was also ordered to pay court costs of £85.
