A serial sex offender assaulted a woman in her 80s after following her through the streets and walking into her home.

Philip Packham, 69, left his victim “worried and scared to go outside” after trying to kiss her and cuddle her.

He also touched her inappropriately.

Packham has 30 convictions for 73 offences.

His first sex assault goes back to the 1980s.

In other news, a hair salon from Chandler's Ford is celebrating being shortlisted for a national award.

Jemma George Hair Artistry is in for a chance to win the Best New Salon award at the National Hair and Beauty Awards in Birmingham.

It's a great achievement for owner Jemma who's been running the business for just under two years.
