NO ARRESTS have been made after a pedestrian was rushed to hospital following a hit and run.
Police have confirmed that an investigation is ongoing following the incident on Vanguard Road.
Emergency services rushed to the incident just after midnight after the man was struck by a car.

Police say that a red car had driven over a man in the road and did not stop.
The pedestrian, a 47-year-old man, was taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
Police closed the road including the junction of Mousehole Lane on January 22.
Officers have confirmed that no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
