A 19-year-old was left dying in the street after being ambushed by three men and stabbed, a jury has been told.
Dawid Such had been outside his home in Langhorn Road, Southampton, at around midday when he was stabbed in the back.
Opening a trial at Winchester Crown Court, James Curtis KC told the jury that the attack was "clearly drugs-related".
The court heard how Dawid, who had been involved in a fight the night before, was standing on his driveway when three men, Ken Mulangala, Cleohertz Onyeasi and Donovan Thomas got out of a Silver Vauxhall Corsa.
The car, driven by Martin Bell, then moved away as the trio ran towards Dawid.
Mr Curtis said Dawid was chased around a car and "immediately stabbed" receiving four or five puncture wounds.
Footage played to the jury then showed the three men running away and across Portswood Road.
Injured Dawid got up and stumbled across the street before collapsing.
The court was told he'd suffered a major wound to his back as well as another injury to his abdomen.
The prosecution added that he had been "kicked" to the head and chest but that he had no defensive injuries.
"He didn't have a chance to defend himself," Mr Curtis said.
A passing nurse rushed to his aid with emergency services also attending.
But having lost a "catastrophic" amount of blood, Dawid was pronounced dead at Southampton General Hospital at 3.10pm.

Meanwhile, the three alleged attackers fled the area with Billy McIntyre driving Mulangala, Thomas and Jordan Matthews, who is thought to have been involved in planning and preparation, to London.
The incident sparked multiple arrests in London and Southampton with a knife later found in a shoebox in Warren Avenue, a place frequented by Onyeasi and Mulangala.
Five men face charges of murder: Cleohertz Onyeasi, 21, of Ellingham View, Dartford; Martin Bell, 46, of Le Marechal Avenue, Bursledon; Jordan Gregory Matthews, 20, of Estridge Close, Bursledon; Ken Mulangala, 20, of Warren Avenue, Southampton; and Donovan Neil Thomas, 35, of Norwood High Street, London.
Billy McIntyre, 23, of Millbrook Road East is accused of assisting an offender.
Mr Curtis added that the incident was a "joint exercise" and linked with drugs.
"[Dawid] had, we say, some history of involvement in drugs. He had been arrested earlier in 2022 for possession of Class A drugs, cocaine.
"[This was] one of the keys to why he lost his life at all".
The trial continues.
