Police have been called to a supermarket in the Thornhill area of the city.
Officers are carrying out enquiries at the Co-op store on Hinkler Road this afternoon.
The shop was reportedly closed last night following an incident.
A patrol car is parked outside today, however, the Co-op is now open.
The Daily Echo has contacted Hampshire police for more information.
