SHOCKING video shows the moment a man stabbed a university student across a city park.
Rebaz Mohammed plunged a knife into Ellis Wheeler in a bid to get deported from the UK.
The Iraqi national then chased his victim across Hoglands Park during the daytime attack.
Southampton Crown Court previously heard that the 28-year-old had asked Mr Wheeler if he knew how to kickbox before pulling out a kitchen knife.
Mr Wheeler was rushed to hospital, where he stayed for five days, and treated for a collapsed lung.
Mohammed told police he stabbed Mr Wheeler so he could get deported.
He was previously jailed for 12 weeks for racially-aggravated harassment and stalking in 2022.
Furthermore, had been cautioned for criminal damage and battery.
The court hear that Mohammed had arrived in the UK illegally and had no work and no money.
Mohammed, who was living in a hotel in Meyrick Road, Bournemouth, at the time of the attack last December.
He was jailed for six years with a four-year extended licence.
