A JURY will next week resume its deliberations in the case of a former teacher accused of sexually abusing a teenager.
Peter Morse denies two counts of engaging in sexual activity with a teenager while in a position of trust.
The jury at Southampton Crown Court previously heard that the complainant was "haunted" by memories of the alleged incidents.
In 2014 she felt the need to the need to confront the defendant over the incidents that she said occurred before she left school, the court heard.

Morse, 50, of Providence Park, Southampton previously worked at Bitterne Park School but told jurors: "I did not sexually abuse her. There was no sexual activity".
Prosecuting, Rose Burns has described Morse's actions towards the teenager as "cruel, callous and manipulative".
After a full day of deliberations on Friday, the judge called the jury back at around 4pm in order to adjourn the case until Monday.
The trial continues.
