POLICE have issued a warning after a car was abandoned on a busy road.
Hampshire Roads Policing Unit shared a photo of a blue 4X4 on lane 2 on the A31.
The car was left on the inside lane near Minstead heading westbound and caused delays this morning.
If you are delayed heading West on the #A31 this morning, this is why... the owner thought it would be a good idea to leave it in Lane 2 and get an Uber home!!! Needless to say, prosecution heading their way! Waiting for recovery. #25356 pic.twitter.com/97VFXeNamF

Police claim the driver left the car and "got an Uber home".
Officers are waiting for the car to be recovered.
