A MAN caused a woman ‘serious facial trauma’ leaving her with two black eyes and bruising and cuts all over her body.
Lewis Fox has been found guilty of attempting to cause GBH following a trial at Southampton Crown Court.
Jurors previously heard how his victim thought he was going to kill her when he repeatedly punched her during the 'brutal' attack.
Prosecution barrister, Timothy Moores told how Fox, 31, pushed the woman to the ground and kicked her. And that she fled from him naked before hiding in bushes and calling for help.
She “hid in the bushes” until she called people in a nearby car for help.
Jurors found Fox not guilty of two charges of assault by penetration, attempted rape, and making a threat to kill.
The defendant, of Stanley Road in Portsmouth, has been remanded into custody and is due to be sentenced at Southampton Crown Court on April 21.
