A MAN stole almost £2,000 worth of tobacco from the shop he worked at.
Christopher Noke was hauled before court following the offence at Waitrose, where he worked, The Furlong in Ringwood.
The court heard how the 46-year-old stole £1,934 worth of tobacco from the store on February 20 last year.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he admitted one charge of theft by an employee.
Noke, of Aspen Way, Poole, is due to appear at Southampton Crown Court for sentencing on April 11.
