A MAN'S body has been found in Hamble River.
The body of the man in his 70s was found in water near Burridge Recreational Ground, Burridge.
Police were called to the park off Botley Road just after 9am on Saturday.
Officers are not treating his death as suspicious and his next of kin have been informed.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "We were called just after 9am on Saturday, 25 March, following the discovery of a man in the water by Burridge Recreational Ground, Burridge.
"The death of the man in his 70s is currently not being treated as suspicious.
"His next of kin have been informed."
