A POPULAR Southampton pub is set to throw open its doors under new management.
The Stile Inn on Shirley Road will be reopening to the community after it was closed last month for refurbishment.
The pub was previously run by Jean Saint and Jackie Edlin for more than 20 years.
The mother-and-daughter duo took over in the 2000s, but after feeling the pressure of the current economic climate, they announced their retirement.

New owners took over the premises and have now confirmed the reopening date on their social media.
On Facebook, the pub posted: "We finally have a date for you.
"On Good Friday, April 7 at 11am, we will open our doors to you all.
It's taken a lot of work, and we still have a bit more to do, but we will be ready to open in time for Easter.
"So come on down and check out what we've been working on here at The Stile Inn."
The pub is located at 224 Shirley Road.
