MICHAEL STIMSON, 40, of Ladycross Road, Hythe, admitted failing to stop a mechanically propelled vehicle when required by constable/traffic warden and one charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis. Remanded in custody to next appear on April 6 at Southampton Magistrates’ Court for sentencing.
JAMES MOORE, 27, of Coleman Street, Southampton admitted driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence, without insurance and two counts of driving above the legal drug limit. Granted unconditional bail to next appear at Southampton Magistrates' Court on May 17, 2023.
A 17-year-old boy from Portsmouth, who cannot be named due to his age, admitted going equipped for theft on June 16, 2022, in Southampton equipped with a balaclava, torch, black glove and clear latex gloves. Given a conditional discharge to last one year and ordered to pay court costs of £85. Order made for forfeiture and destruction of the seized items.
JONATHON MARMONT, 53, of Battenberg Close, Romsey admitted to drink driving on Bournemouth Road, Chandler’s Ford. Disqualified from driving for 24 months. Rehabilitation activity requirement for 15 days and ordered to pay costs and a surcharge totalling £199.
ALBERT PHILLIPS, 28, of Forster Road, Southampton, admitted two counts of theft from a shop relating to DVDs worth approximately £100 from HMV in Southampton and £51.96 worth of laundry pods stolen from SAVERS. Granted unconditional bail to next appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court on May 10 for sentencing.
SHANE HURLOCK, 34, of Lydgate Road, Southampton, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis as the driver of a vehicle on October 17, 2021. Disqualified from driving for 22 months with a 22-week reduction if he attends a driving course. 80 hours of unpaid work and a 15-day rehabilitation activity requirement. Ordered to pay £310 in court costs and a £95 surcharge.
A 17-year-old boy from Goring-by-Sea, Worthing, who cannot be named because of his age, admitted going equipped for theft with an angle grinder, balaclava and a glove. Granted unconditional bail to appear at Worthing Magistrates’ Court on April 6, 2023, for sentencing.
