A CANNABIS factory has been raided after power was cut to nearby properties.
Police were called to an address in Bond Street after concerns were raised by an electrical company.
When they arrived on Friday night, they found a "large number" of plants inside.
Officers could not confirm how many plants were found but the incident is being investigated.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "Officers were called on Friday evening (March 31) to what was believed to be a cannabis factory in Bond Street, Southampton.
"Concerns were raised by the electric company after a power cut to surrounding properties.
"A large number of plants was found inside the address. Enquiries into who was responsible for the factory are ongoing."
