A POP-UP market will be coming to Southampton this Easter to bring "an afternoon of street food, great bargains, and top entertainment".

The Village Pop-up Market will feature a wide range of street food stalls, including Greek, Caribbean, and Thai food.

The two-day event will take place on Friday and Saturday around the Bargate area, from 10.30am to 6pm.

A spokesperson for The Village Pop-Up said: "We’ve been going for a few weeks now, and we’d like to invite you to come and check out The Village Pop-Up Market in the heart of Southampton as we celebrate Easter with a range of stalls and entertainment on offer for all to have a wonderful day out. 

"If you’re looking for something to do, why not come down, and bring your family and friends, as we guarantee an afternoon of street food, great bargains, and top entertainment. 

"Celebrate your Easter by doing something new and hopefully enjoying the good weather with an outdoor experience.

"For street food, there is a range of cuisines on offer, including Greek, Caribbean, Falafel, Thai, loaded fries, tacos, plus artisan crepes and brownies." 

People can also buy vintage clothing, seasonal flowers, or cheese from a deli.
