A murder investigation into the death of Mark Noke is continuing in Southampton after 15 people were arrested and three people charged.

The 15 men, two aged 20, two aged 23 and others aged 21, 28, 31 and 39 - and all from Southampton - were arrested on suspicion of murder.

They have all been released on bail while enquiries continue.

The 64-year-old Warburton Road resident was found in his flat with a single stab wound to his chest on February 25.

Two women aged 29 and 47, and two men aged 33 and 49, all from Southampton were also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

A 27-year-old woman from Gosport was arrested for the same offence.

An inquest in Winchester heard that emergency services were called to his home at 1am.

When police arrived he was conscious and breathing and was able to identify himself, the inquest in Winchester heard.

But Mr Noke died at 2.05 am from a stab wound to the right side of his chest.

Following the investigation, Aaron Morgan, 31, of Bursledon Road, Southampton, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

He pleaded guilty to both counts at Southampton Crown Court on March 31 and has been remanded to appear at the same court on May 5.

Another man, Jack Follet, 23, from International Way, was charged with possession of a firearm.

He pleaded not guilty at Southampton Crown Court on Monday April 3 and was remanded to appear at the same court on August 29 for trial.

Rianne Doughty, 27, from Queens Road, Gosport, was charged with failing to comply with a Section 49 notice to disclose a phone PIN number.

At Southampton Magistrates’ Court on March 28, she pleaded not guilty and was bailed with conditions to appear at Southampton Crown Court on April 28 for trial.
