A Southampton father and son duo is set to make the line-up at a venue where Queen and The Beatles played.
The two, both called Henrique Machado, or the Henrys, will be sharing the stage with other cover bands this summer.
The two - aged 24 and 54 - have been invited to play at the Cavern Club in Liverpool from August 26 to 28 as part of International Beatles Week.
The Cavern Club nightclub is known as the birthplace of British band.
Henrique, 24, spoke of the privilege it is for both of them to be invited to play.
He said: “It’s almost like a sanctuary of music because the Beatles started there and they played 300 times, and not only Beatles but like Elton John and Queen.
“When we first got the call we were buzzing really. It took a while just for the thought to settle in our minds.
“Especially coming from Portugal and just being able to play at The Cavern Club, which is something that I've long dreamed of.”

He reminisced on the days he was busking in Portugal before coming to the streets of Southampton.
He said: “In Portugal, I never got to imagine myself playing The Cavern because it's just too far away.
“But it's great to suddenly be able to actually achieve this and to be where The Beatles were.”

Henrique started busking in Lisbon when he finished secondary school, where he would play for hours while tourists walked by.
In 2017 after attending a professional fair where he heard about Southampton’s Solent University, Henrique decided to apply to study music and move to the UK to pursue his dream.
Years later his dad moved to the UK and the two began pursuing the dream of music, playing in the streets before people started booking them for private events.
In December 2019 they reached the final in an Open Mic competition hosted in the Indigo at the O2.
The Henrys can be booked via their Facebook page The Henrys.
