RESIDENTS have been left shocked after a teenager was stabbed on a residential street.
Emergency services were called to Station Road, Netley just before 9.30pm on Friday after reports of a serious assault.
Upon arrival, a 17-year-old boy was found with stab wound to his torso and an injury to his head.
He was taken to hospital though his injuries are not thought to be life-changing or life-threatening.
But now those living on the street say they have been left shocked and scared by the incident.

Pat, 77 has lived in the area for 60 years and described the incident as "awful".
She said: "We have never had anything like this happen before on this road, never anything like a stabbing.
"It’s not a nice thing to happen, especially living on this road. It’s shocking to think it happened here."
Another resident, David, 80, told the Echo: "This has surprised me. The news has come as quite a shock.
"I hope the young lad recovers and there’s no retributions."
An investigation has been launched with police conducting enquiries in the area on Saturday.
A 44-year-old woman who lives in the area added: "I feel sorry for the children and parents involved."
Another woman, aged 42, had been visiting a relative at the time.
She said: "It’s really scary. It’s a frequent thing now, people getting stabbed."
Liz Jarvis, Borough Councillor for Hamble and Netley and Parliamentary Candidate for Eastleigh, added: "My thoughts are with the victim and his family, and everyone in our community who has been affected by this shocking incident.
"Serious incidents like this are fortunately rare in our area, but one is too many.
"We urgently need a return to proper community policing.
"Our local police work tirelessly to keep our community safe, and they should be given more resources for patrols and investigations."
Eastleigh Mayor, Cllr Adam Manning urged anyone with information to contact the police.
