Southampton drivers have been warned to watch out for motorway closures this week.
Motorists should be mindful of the following closures, which are expected to cause delays of less than 10 minutes.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that six closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:
- M271; both directions on junction one; from 9pm, April 15 to 6am, April 16; for litter clearance.
- M27, eastbound on junction five, slip road closure for M27 Smart Motorways, from November 21 2022 to May 6 2023, diversion via National Highways network.
- M27 eastbound, junction eight, slip road closure for M27 Smart Motoriways, diversion via National Highways network.
- M27, M3 southbound to M27 Eastbound, link road closure for M3 concrete barrier scheme, from April 21 2021 to 6pm August 5, diversion in place via National Highways network.
- M27, both directions from junction four to junction eight, carriageway; slip road and lane closures for resurfacing work; diversions in place via National Highways and local authority network.
