A woman verbally abused staff at JD Sports before kicking over a number of shoe boxes.
Police were called out to the shop on Above Bar Street on Saturday morning after reports of a woman being abusive.
Verbal abuse was directed to staff before the woman started kicking over some shoe boxes.
Police say no injuries were reported and no-one was arrested.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 10.42am on Saturday 29 April to a report of a public order incident at JD Sports on Above Bar Street in Southampton.
"It was reported that a woman had been verbally abusive to staff and kicked over a number of shoe boxes.
"No injuries were reported."
