A PERSON has returned bail after being arrested for possession of indecent images and sexual activity with a child.

It comes after Treetops Preschool in Maunsell Way, Hedge End, has been ordered to close by Ofsted over a safeguarding complaint.

Hampshire police have said a person arrested earlier this year has now returned bail.

The person's bail has been extended until May 31.

The person was arrested on suspicion of possession of indecent images or pseudo-images of children, and sexual activity with a child.

A Hampshire police spokesperson previously said: “We can confirm an arrest has been made for possession of indecent images or pseudo-images of children, and sexual activity with a child.

“That person has been released on police bail as enquiries continue.”
