Aldi is set to open two new stores in Southampton this year.

The two new stores in the city are part of the investment of £8 million across the county.

The new investment will also see new stores open in Farnborough and Southsea and is part of the supermarket’s rapid expansion drive in recent years.

The discounted supermarket currently recruiting for 260 store roles in Hampshire, and is set to create 6,000 new jobs across the UK this year alone.

It comes as Aldi opened a store in March in Auckland Road, Millbrook.
