A man has died after being found on the hard shoulder of the M27.
Emergency services were called out at 8.45am today to reports of a man on the hard shoulder of the westbound carriageway, near junction 2.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: "We were called at 8.45am to a report of a man who was on the hard shoulder of the M27 westbound, near junction 2.
"Emergency services attended, but the man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
"His family has been informed by officers.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
