A motorcyclist has been seriously injured after a crash in the early hours of this morning.
Police officers were called to the scene of the crash at the junction of Burgess Road and Winchester Road.

The crash, which happened before 6am, involved a Hyundai and a motorbike.
The motorcyclist sustained a serious leg injury and he was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.
