IT'S only just over a week to go until Isle of Wight Festival 2023, considered by many to be the official start of summer.

Tens of thousands of party people will take to Southampton Water to make the crossing to the Island, which will play host to headliners Pulp, Robbie Williams, George Ezra and The Chemical Brothers.

Britpop band Pulp, fronted by Jarvis Cocker, will perform on the Friday night as part of their first run of live shows in a decade.

Chart-topping singer-songwriter Ezra will headline the Saturday night with his brand of infectious, sunshine-pop, including festival anthems Shotgun and Green Green Grass. Then The Chemical Brothers, a duo who redefined the concept of live electronic music, bagged six UK Number 1 albums, four GRAMMY wins and a reputation for a transcendent live experience, take over and close the evening.

Sunday will see former Take That star Williams bring an end to the festival while also making his debut there in a UK festival exclusive. He'll entertain the crowd with hits from his 30 year career.
