A STALKER who turned up at his victim's home has been handed a restraining order.
Yasir Nowsher stalked a woman in Southampton on May 8 this year.
The court heard how the 25-year-old turned up at her home on Lemon Road and caused her "serious alarm and distress".
It was heard that the defendant had "a flagrant disregard for people and their property".
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he admitted one charge of stalking.
Nowsher, of Victoria Road, Eastleigh, was handed a jail sentence of 16 weeks suspended for two years and a restraining order banning him from contacting his victim or visiting her address.
He was also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £143 and court costs of £85.
