A CROWN court date has been set after a 17-year-old boy suffered puncture wounds in an alleged assault in Eastleigh.
A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named because of his age, has appeared in court charged with section 18 wounding with intent.
He is also accused of possession of an offensive weapon.
It comes after a 17-year-old suffered several injuries to his neck, leg and back during an incident next to Grantham Green Park.
The boy appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court on Monday.
No pleas were entered and the case is now due to go to trial on June 30.
The boy was granted conditional bail to appear next at Southampton Crown Court.
