The 50m Alu Hall temporary structure collapsed this morning while technicians were dismantling it.
The marquee was up as part of the Seawork marine exhibition, which ran last week.
A spokesman for Neptunus said: “The Alu Hall has an impeccable safety record and is one of the most popular structures in our range.
"It has been used extensively and successfully at hundreds of global events and exhibitions over the years.
"Our technicians were in the dismantling process when the collapse occurred. An investigation is now underway to determine the cause.”
