A VAN driver has confessed to accidentally "kidnapping" their neighbour's cat and losing it on the motorway.
They owned up to the incident on a Twitter account dedicated to posting anonymous confessions from across the UK.
The tale, posted to Fesshole, said that they were loading up their van when the cat snuck in.
While driving on the M27 eastbound near Rownhams, they stopped as they heard some boxes fall over.
Accidentally kidnapped nextdoors cat, it snuck into the back of my van while loading one morning, stopped at Rownhams east on the M27, opened the back as I'd heard some boxes fall. It popped up and legged it across the carpark to some bushes. I wasn't chasing it and left quickly

Once stopped, they opened the back of the van and spotted their neighbour's cat among the boxes.
It is reported that the cat then ran away across the car park and into some bushes.
