A new axe-throwing venue will be flying into Southampton this week.
Swing by Axeology in East Street when it officially opens its doors in the city on Saturday.
The new venue will feature four axe-throwing lanes, offering an adrenaline-pumping experience for groups ranging from two to 16 people.
Co-owner and city resident Bikram Sohal said: ‘We’ve been working day and night getting the venue ready.
“It’s taken over one year for us to find a suitable space but we’re nearly there.
“As a Southampton resident myself and father of three, I’ve always wanted to open something like this and we’re hugely grateful for all the support from those who have helped us get to where we are.
“If you haven’t heard of axe-throwing or been axe-throwing I would encourage you to try it at least once to test your resilience, hand-eye coordination and to feel the surge of power when you get that axe into the target, a natural stress reliever.”

Not only can people enjoy a fun activity, but the venue will also provide expert instructors who will guide participants.
This will ensure they learn proper axe-throwing techniques and emphasising safety throughout the experience.
Axeology will also create five new jobs in the area, helping to boost growth and employment opportunities.
The venue will offer a range of bar snacks, soft drinks and non-alcoholic beers to keep participants fuelled and refreshed.
To celebrate its grand opening, Axeology is offering an early-bird special with tickets priced at £19 per person.
This discounted rate will be available until the end of July.
