A TRAFFIC warning has been issued as a high number of cruise passengers arrive in Southampton today.
Motorists have been advised to plan their journeys in advance if they’re travelling to the waterfront.
Three cruise ships arrived in the city early this morning, and thousands of passengers are expected to travel to the city centre throughout the day.

Ventura, Iona, and MSC Virtuosa all arrived in port before 7am, with all three vessels departing Southampton within 24 hours.
A further two cruise ships will arrive in Southampton on Sunday morning before sailing away later that evening.
People are advised to plan their journeys in advance.
