EASTLEIGH have announced the double-signing of forward Scott Quigley and centre-back Ludwig Francillette.
Quigley began his professional career at serial Welsh champions TNS before making the switch to England when he joined Blackpool in 2017.
He has since turned out for a number of teams across the north of England and Wales, most recently spending last season on loan at Rochdale in League Two.
The 30 year old has joined Eastleigh having left Stockport County at the end of his contract.
“Scott is proven at this level," Spitfires boss Lee Bradbury noted after completing the deal to sign Quigley.
"He’s a good age and has been around some really good times at the level.
“He’s a leader and a target man. He’ll be effective at both ends of the pitch whether it’s defending corners or scoring goals.”
Defender Francillette joins the Spitfires following his departure from League Two side Crawley having previously been a part of Newcastle United's youth team.
The 24 year old is also a former Guadeloupe youth international.
Upon the deal for Francillette being completed, Bradbury, said: “Ludwig is someone I’ve known since my Crawley days. Straight away he’s an imposing figure, 6’5″, mobile, can play.
“His background is from Newcastle U21s and he came into Crawley and straight away, I was impressed with him.
“I’m excited to get him in the building, we’ve wanted a centre-half of his stature for a while and it’s taken quite a while to get him in but we’re looking forward to having him at the club.”
