A Southampton eatery has been slapped with a zero hygiene rating after inspectors found urgent improvements are necessary.
Fresh Shawarma, a takeaway offering Middle Eastern dishes on Shirley Road, has been given a zero out of five, the lowest hygiene rating, by the Food Standards Agency.

The agency has said urgent improvements were necessary for the cleanliness and the condition of the restaurant facilities, as well as for the management of food safety.
The hygienic handling of food has also been judged as needing major improvements.
Fresh Shawarma has been approached for comment by the Echo.
