The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

KAIN HAINEY, 25, of Highwood Avenue, Eastleigh admitted drink driving on School Lane, Chandler's Ford. He was found to have 106 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood whilst behind the wheel of a black Mercedes A-Class. He was given an interim disqualification and bailed to appear at the same court on August 30 for sentencing.

MICHAEL WOLOSZ, 42, of Ringbury, Lymington pleaded guilty to drink driving on the A337 Christchurch Road, Lymington. He was found to have 53 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months and fined £85. Wolosz must also pay court costs of £85 and a £34 surcharge. 

LISA TAYLOR, 43, of Princess Court, Southampton was found guilty of using threatening, abusive, insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. She also admitted failing to answer to court/police bail. Taylor was given a community order until January 17, 2025 including 30 rehabilitation days and £50 compensation.

DAMON SLACK, 34, of Spring Close, Southampton admitted drug driving on the A35 Bournemouth Road in Southampton. He was found to have ketamine in his blood above the legal limit. He was given a one-year community order with 10 rehabilitation days and disqualified for 12 months. Slack was also fined £50 and must pay court costs of £85 plus a £114 surcharge. 

GORDON LOVATT, 39, of Shorefield Road, Lymington admitted one count of assault by beating in New Milton. He was given a one-year community order with 27 rehabilitation days and 50 hours of unpaid work. A restraining order was also put in place banning him from contacting his victim until July 2024. He must also pay court costs of £85 plus a £114 surcharge.
