The New Forest Show returns today and is bigger and better than before.
The popular historic festival of agriculture and the countryside has been running for over 100 years.
The show, based in Brockenhurst, will run until Thursday, offering three jam-packed days of entertainment and activities.
Visitors can expect spectacular displays, including international showjumping, the heavy Horse Musical Drive, and The REME Lightning Bolts army parachute display team flying into the main rings.
A wide range of competitions and activities will be available to get involved in and around the showground.
This includes the Old Time Farm section with its functioning display of ‘gorgeous vintage machinery’.

The Second World War Land Army Ladies will be in attendance to showcase the essential role women of wartime Britain played in keeping the nation going during this time.
A spokesperson from the New Forest Show said: “Throughout the whole three days of the show, we will be hosting a wide array of equine and livestock competitions.
“You’ll be able to see a variety majestic horse, sheep and cow breeds, some of which you may never have seen before.
“Meet the owners and learn about their animals, then watch them compete in a series of classes.”
The spokesperson added: “And brand new for 2023 is the Culture in Common and the Rabbit Village.
“Culture in Common is a section is dedicated to the arts and culture.
“It will feature an amazing programme of live music, dance and other performances delivered by professional arts and cultural organisations.
“There will be plenty of activities as well, such as trying your hand at the ukulele or learning how to draw cartoons.
“We are delighted to be showcasing Rabbit Village where you can see rabbits in a revolutionary ‘runaround’ warren style set up that allows them to display their natural behaviours.”

As well as two new additions to the show, visitors can enjoy dog-related entertainment in the Canine Ring, whilst the Countryside Area will have live falconry and a variety of get-involved activities.
Chefs will be offering masterclass demonstrations at the Cookery Demonstration Kitchen, while the Farming Experience Zone will help people learn about agricultural machinery, crops and keeping livestock.
The Festival of Food and Drink will be providing the ‘the finest craft produce’ from the area in addition to cuisines around the world.
There will be over 500 stalls selling a variety of items, from hats to hot tubs.
The New Forest and Hampshire County Show is taking place from July 25 to 27 from 8am to 6.30pm each day at The Showground, New Park in Brockenhurst.
