A MAN has appeared in court over a crash on the M3 which caused queues of more than six miles.
Gavin Douglas Bathurst-Shaw-Binning, 46, appeared at Winchester Crown Court on July 19 after being charged with dangerous driving.
It comes after police were called to reports of multiple crashes between Winchester Services and Hockley on June 16.

The incident, which took place at around 5.44pm, caused significant disruption to the southbound carriageway for more than three hours.
A number of damaged vehicles were recovered with tailbacks stretching more than six miles towards Micheldever.
Bathurst-Shaw-Binning, of Barons Way, Egham is due back at the same court on Friday for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
He already appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court in June.
