The following cases were heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court...

CHARLES CORNHILL, 31, of Honister Close, Southampton admitted one count of drink driving at Walnut Grove. He was found to have 104 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of blood. Cornhill was given an interim disqualification and was bailed to appear at the same court on September 1 for sentencing.

BENJAMIN RASTRICK, 35, of Gregson Avenue, Gosport admitted two counts of fraud by false representation. These related to him offering a motorbike for sale, intending to make a gain of £2,000 on count one and £1,720 on count two. He was granted bail to appear at the same court on September 5 for sentencing.

FRANCIS FERNANDES, 73, Northlands Gardens, Southampton was found guilty of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver. They were fined £356 and given six penalty points. Fernandes was also ordered to pay court costs of £110 and a £142 surcharge.

BILLY MATTHEWS, 39, of Cracknore Hard Lane, Marchwood pleaded guilty to drink driving on Ringwood Road, Totton with 98 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath. He was disqualified for 24 months and fined £1,033. He was also ordered to pay court costs of £85 and a £413 surcharge. 

VIKTOR TOTH, 48, of Elmer Mews, Fetcham was found guilty of one count of failing to give information relating to the identification of a driver in Fareham. He was fined £660 and given six penalty points. He must also pay court costs of £110 and a £264 surcharge. 

BALALRISHNA SIMHADRI, 24, Wellstone Avenue, Leeds admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis in Southampton and driving with no insurance in Winchester. They were given a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days and 150 hours of unpaid work. Simhadri was also disqualified from driving for 24 months and ordered to pay £85 court costs plus a £114 surcharge.
