THE below cases were all heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

NICOLAE POPA, 52, of Highlands Road, Andover admitted a single charge of driving without insurance on the M27 eastbound at Southampton. They had been driving a Vauxhall Antara. Popa was fined £284 and given six penalty points. They must also pay court costs of £100 and a £34 surcharge. 

SELINA SWEENEY, 36, of New Road, Netley Abbey admitted one count of assault by beating of an emergency worker. She was given a one-year community order with 10 days rehabilitation activity, £75 compensation and a £180 fine. 

SCOTT RANDALL, 36, of Irving Road, Southampton admitted four counts of fraud by false representation. He was given a one-year community order with 100 hours of unpaid work. He must pay compensation of £140, £85 court costs and a £95 surcharge. This is to be paid by August 25.

ANDREW PIKE, 34, of Southampton Road, Eastleigh pleaded guilty to a single count of criminal damage. This related to an incident on November 10 last year when guttering and the front door of a property were damaged in Southampton to the value of £2,296. Pike was given a conditional discharge for 18 months and must pay £2,296 in compensation. 

FAHAD HUSSAIN, 27, of Mitcham Park, Merton admitted a single charge of failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Carlton Place, Southampton. He was disqualified from driving for 20 months and fined £79. He must also pay £85 court costs and a £32 surcharge.

VICTORIA PETERS, 33, of Howards Mead, Pennington pleaded guilty to a single count of theft. This related to the stealing of packets of meat from Pennington Cross Garage to the value of £55.80. She was bailed to appear at the same court on September 6 for sentencing.
