SHOCKING footage of rowdy teenagers charging through Westquay shopping centre in Southampton has appeared on social media following a city centre "riot".
It comes after witnesses reported seeing as many as 150 youths throwing outdoor furniture from a restaurant into a road on Friday.
The Echo was told that around 150 teenagers were carrying chairs from Bella Italia above their heads.
Now footage on TikTok shows a large number of children and teenagers taking part in a "meet and greet" event at Westquay.
One of the videos captures the moment when scores of teenagers surged through the shopping complex, led by a man holding a microphone.
Another video encourages people to turn up for the event. One of the organisers can be heard saying: "Tell everyone you know. It's going to be mental."
In a third video filmed in Above Bar Street, teenagers can be heard chanting "raid Primark".

One person who contacted the Echo about the incident claimed the group was more than 100 strong, and described the scene as "a riot".
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed they were called to Westquay at around 1.20pm on Friday.
A spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a large group of people causing anti-social behaviour in the dining area of Westquay Shopping Centre.
"It was then reported that the group had travelled through Hoglands Park and Palmerston Road, causing further anti-social behaviour including throwing chairs, bottles and other items.
"Officers attended and the people involved dispersed."
Police say no arrests have been made but the incident is still being investigated. Officers will be on patrol today.
On the Echo's Facebook page, people present expressed their shock over what happened.
Kelly Morse said: "These kids came running through Primark, nearly knocking my 6-year-old over."
According to Katie Cook, the group also 'put a smoke bomb on a bus'.
She said: "My friend and I were on with our children. [They] then went into the Greggs and starting taking things out of the chiller. It was quite scary."
Bella Italia and Westquay have been contacted for comment.
