A BUCKET list swim in Southampton Water is back.
The Southampton International Boat Show Swim is set to return in September following a successful inaugural outing last year.
Swimmers will access the water from the Boat Show pontoons on Sunday September 17 and swim 1km around Southampton Docks, past tall ships and super yachts.
All proceeds from the event will go to city charity the Rose Road Association, which provides direct care services for over 340 children and young adults with severe physical disabilities, profound and multiple learning difficulties and complex health needs from across Hampshire and the surrounding counties.
Daily Echo writer Lorelei Reddin was one of 80 swimmers who took part in last year's event, which raised more than £5,000 for the charity. You can read about her experience here.
Registration is £45 plus an optional donation of your choice. Swimmers receive a free pass to the show.
