THESE five cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

JAN KOSNO, 19, of Thackeray Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing a knife in Brunswick Place, Southampton. They were given a one-year community order with 15 rehabilitation days and 100 hours of unpaid work. An order was made for forfeiture and destruction of the knife and Kosno must pay court costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge. 

NATALIE SNOW, 37, of Northbrook Road, Southampton admitted to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress. She was given a two-year community order with 10 rehabilitation days and a fine of £40. A restraining order was also made with Snow required to pay court costs of £85.

ALEXANDER DIBDEN, 40, of Wallace Road, Southampton pleaded guilty to using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress and possessing a knife in public, namely a machete. Dibden was given a five-month prison sentence suspended for 24 months and must complete an accredited programme. A restraining order was also made with the court ordering forfeiture and destruction of the machete. They must pay a surcharge of £154.

SCOTT MCCLURE, 39, of Andrew Close, Portsmouth admitted theft from a shop after he stole two Go Pro's worth £40 from B&M. He also pleaded guilty to drink driving. McClure was given a £40 fine for the theft and a further £120 fine for the driving matter. He was also disqualified from driving for three years and must pay court costs of £85 plus a £16 surcharge. 

KATHARINE DOBLE, 39, of Mead Road, Winchester admitted using a phone whilst driving a BMW 1 Series on Jewry Street. She was disqualified from driving for six months and fined £700. Doble must also pay court costs of £85 and a £280 surcharge.
