THE following cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates Court...

SONNIE KERLEY, 33, of Randalls Croft, Salisbury pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified, uninsured driving on Commercial Road, Totton and failing to provide a specimen for analysis. Kerley was disqualified for 60 months and jailed for eight weeks. 

BRIDGET MUDDLE, 50, of Dickson Park, Wickham admitted to driving whilst disqualified and driving without insurance on Mortimers Lane near Fair Oak. She was disqualified for ten months and fined £120. Muddle must also pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge. 

LORI CARVER, 35, of Hardy Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to possessing a class B drug; namely cannabis, drug driving and using a vehicle on a road without a valid test certificate. Carver was disqualified for 12 months and fined £183. They must pay court costs of £85 and a £73 surcharge. An order was made for the forfeiture and destruction of the drugs.

ANDREW PRICE, 56, of Elgin Close, Hythe admitted to uninsured driving. He was fined £440 and given six penalty points. Price must also pay court costs of £110 and a £176 surcharge. 

RICHARD BRENNER, 24, of Upper Shirley Avenue, Southampton pleaded guilty to two counts of drug driving. He was found to have Ketamine and Benzoylecgonine - a breakdown product of cocaine in his blood. Brenner was disqualified for 18 months and fined £120. He must pay £85 court costs and a £48 surcharge.

ANDREW ARKINS, 41, of Norris Close, Romsey admitted to one count of drug driving. He was found to have a breakdown product of cannabis in his blood. Arkins was disqualified for 12 months, fined £307 and ordered to pay £85 court costs plus a £123 surcharge. 

BARTOSZ BADRAN, 30, of Redmoor Close, Southampton pleaded guilty to driving whilst disqualified on Hawkeswood Road, Bitterne. They were behind the wheel of a BMW 116i at the time. Badran has been granted bail to appear at the same court on August 4 for sentencing.
