THE Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning with high winds expected in Southampton on Saturday.
The high winds are also expected to affect parts of Hampshire and much of the South-East of England.
The warning will be in place between 6am and 9pm on Saturday, August 5.
A spokesperson from the Met Office said: “Unreasonably windy weather will affect parts of the UK on Saturday leading to a risk of disruption to travel and outdoor activities.

“There is a good chance of longer journey times or cancellations as road, rail, air, and ferry services are affected, while some roads and bridges could close.
“There is a chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage.
“There is a small chance of injuries from flying debris, and large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties.”
They added: “There is a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs, as well as temporary structures and tents.”
