Planning applications have been submitted to Eastleigh Borough Council, revealing potential changes to several properties in the area.
One application involves the conversion of offices into two houses on Leigh Road.
This would include external alterations and the addition of bin and cycle storage areas.
The application is classified as a full planning application and is currently awaiting a decision.
Another application has been made for a property on High Street in Botley.
The proposed works include the replacement of an old gas-fired boiler with a new Daikin Altherma 3 H HT Heat Pump.
The roof insulation would also be replaced and underfloor insulation would be installed.
These modifications would have a minimal visual impact on the interior of the house, the application says.
Externally, a concrete slab would need to be laid to accommodate the heat pump.
This would not alter the listed building's structure.

The next application involves the construction of five new homes on Brighstone in Horton Heath.
This project would also include landscaping, parking, and associated works.
To make way for the new development, the existing home on the site would be demolished, and site clearance and preparation would take place.
In Chandler's Ford, an application has been submitted for consent under Tree Preservation Orders.
The request is to remove two trees, a Silver Birch and a Sweet Chestnut, both of which are reported as dead or dying.
The Silver Birch trees would be felled to ground level, while the Sweet Chestnut would be partially felled to a height of 2.5 metres above ground level.

Finally, an application has been made for proposed tree works in the rear garden of The Dolphin on High Street in Bursledon.
The works involve a crown reduction of a Magnolia tree, specifically reducing an overextended lateral branch by up to two metres from the branch tips.
Additionally, the tree would be cleared from the dwelling's immediate vicinity by up to 500mm.
These applications are currently under review and decisions have not been made at this time.
