THESE five cases have been heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court.

LAURA GODLEY, 44, Windermere Avenue, Southampton admitted two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words of behaviour to cause fear of or provoke violence. She also admitted to possessing an offensive weapon in public, namely a crowbar. Godley was bailed to appear at the same court on September 13 for sentencing. 

PAULA FRAMPTON, 39, of Woodlands Way, Bursledon pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage, namely damaging a lamp in Eastleigh. Frampton was fined £80 and ordered to pay compensation of £32. She must also pay court costs of £85. 

RAYMOND POINGDESTRE, 71, of no-fixed-abode was found guilty of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress in Southampton. He also pleaded guilty to arrest by a constable for breaking/likely to break bail conditions. Poingdestre was given 16 weeks imprisonment suspended for 18 months. A restraining order was also made with an exclusion order banning him from entering multiple roads in Southampton.

ADAM WOLFE, 38, Chamberlayne Road, Eastleigh admitted three counts of theft from a shop after he took £5.10 worth of Captain Morgan spiced rum cans and a six-pack of steaks worth £83.40 from Tesco. He also took five dog toys to the value of £50.45 belonging to Pets Corner. He was given six weeks imprisonment suspended for 12 months and must pay £88.50 compensation to Tesco. Wolfe was banned from entering Tesco at The Swan Centre in Eastleigh for 12 months.

ANDREW SAUNDERS, 58, Newick Lane, Heathfield admitted a single count of exceeding a variable speed limit on the M27 westbound between junction eight and seven near Hedge End. Saunders was caught at 79mph whilst driving an Audi at a time when the variable speed limit was at 60mph. He was disqualified from driving for six months and given three penalty points. He was also fined £224 and must pay court costs of £110 plus a £90 surcharge.
